Many are facing incredible obstacles and we want to be part of helping them overcome the odds.
What happens when these young people "age out" of the system?
25% will have no high school diploma
50% will be unemployed by the age of 24
25% will be involved in the justice system within two years
71% of young women will be pregnant by 21
20% will be homeless after the age of 18
But it doesn't have to be this way.
What if these young people knew there were people cheering them on? People who believe in them? People who care?
We may not be able change their circumstances, but we might be able to bring a little hope into their lives.
We are doing this every month through our Rooted program.

Twig Kids, ages 18-21, who have aged out of foster care in the state of Florida
can request a TwigBox care package once a month to be shipped to them, wherever they are. We will fill these boxes with essential items like hygiene products - but also with some fun treats to brighten their day. $35 will provide a young person with

Twig Connects is a monthly meeting for young adults, age 15-21, to connect with other young adults
who have been impacted by aging out of foster care or out of home care.
This time will include a speaker on an independent living skill topic, dinner,
and a time to shop for themself at one of our store locations.
